Essentials to bring
Print your badge
To ensure you can access ESC Congress with no delay, your congress badge must be printed in colour ahead of the congress and presented at the congress entrance.
Please note:
- Digital versions on mobile phones, tablet and other devices will not be accepted.
- Badges are personal, individual, and non-transferable. If printed in duplicate and shared or used in breach of any of these rules, the badge will be deemed not valid and entrance in the Congress denied. Entry may be refused without a valid Photo ID (Passport / ID Card/ Driving Licence).
Your badge will be available in your My ESC account by mid-August. A confirmation email will be sent to you.
If you need a badge holder you can collect one at the entrance.
Bring your earphones
All lecture rooms, including the Research Gateway, will be equipped with “Hear Now” technology – allowing you to listen to session audio on your phone via a QR code, whether you're in overflow seating or need clearer sound. So take your own earphones to the congress.
Casual dress code recommendation
In light of the expected warm temperatures in Madrid, we recommend smart casual attire for all participants. Formal business suits are not necessary.
Make your ESC Congress experience more sustainable
Remember to bring your own water bottle and help us cut down on single-use plastic.
We have a commitment to make the congress’s impact on the planet as small as possible, so we are taking steps to reduce waste like never before.
We’ve put together these tips to make it easier for you to join us in this effort.
