ESC Cardio-Oncology 2027
About the Conference
Implementing Excellence in Cardio-Oncology
Organised by the ESC Council of Cardio-Oncology, ESC Cardio-Oncology 2027 marks the next step for our specialty. Our focus on quality pathways, digital tools and connected care across the cancer journey reflects our commitment to turning guidance into real-world implementation.
Bringing together professionals from cardiology, oncology, haematology, radiotherapy and related disciplines, the conference fosters interdisciplinary exchange and meaningful collaboration to build structured and efficient models of care.
With the launch of the new journal, the advanced course in cardio-oncology and the OSCAR registry, this edition is dedicated to delivering high-quality care that makes a measurable impact for every patient with cancer and cardiovascular risk.
FROM EVIDENCE TO IMPACT
Quality, Innovation and Connection
The 2027 scientific programme will spotlight the transition from recognising cardiovascular toxicity to implementing robust, risk-adapted and equitable cardio-oncology services.
Key themes include service models and quality indicators, digital and AI-enabled pathways, cardiometabolic prevention, imaging and biomarkers, immunotherapy and cellular therapies, survivorship, rehabilitation and equity in access to care.
Porto, with its open and welcoming Atlantic setting, offers the perfect environment for building bridges between disciplines, institutions and countries.
Get ready to share your science and join us. The 'Call for Science' and registration open on 18 November 2026.
Together we will:
- Build and implement quality pathways that set new standards for cardio-oncology care.
- Harness digital tools and connected care to improve surveillance, prevention and follow-up across the entire cancer journey.
- Translate the latest evidence and guidelines into practical, real-world models of care including certification, advanced education and registry-driven improvement.
- Foster a truly interdisciplinary community, uniting cardiology, oncology, haematology, radiotherapy, nursing, research, industry and patient voices.
