2025 ESC/EACTS Guidelines for the management of valvular heart disease
The 2025 ESC/EACTS Guidelines update the 2021 valvular heart disease recommendations. Key revisions highlight the central role of the Heart Team, the importance of Heart Valve Centres, and advances in diagnostic imaging with clearer criteria for complex VHD. They also refine indications and timing for interventional options across the spectrum of VHD.
