ESC recommends using public transport wherever possible.

There is a new metro line, Line 9 Sud, that runs from the airport to Fira Gran Via, and into Barcelona city centre. It connects with three other major metro lines, so there is a simple way to get to Fira Gran Via from nearly every area of the city.

Metro stops: Fira (tunnel directly into venue) or Europa Fira (5-minute walk)

Five-day public transport tickets, at a special congress rate of €25, can be purchased in advance through the online individual registration page, or at the congress venue in the Main Entrance from Friday 25 August 2017 onwards.
Tickets are valid for unlimited journeys, on metro, bus and trams in zone 1, and to and from the airport.
