Call for Clinical Cases

Do you have a great clinical case that you want to share?

The call for clinical cases is now open. This is your chance to submit and present it during EHRA 2027.

The submission deadline is Tuesday, 17 November 2026, 12:00 noon CET/Paris time.

• Tuesday, 17 November 2026, 12:00 noon CET/Paris time - Clinical case submissions deadline
• January 2027 - Clinical case results announcement online. An email will also be sent to each submitter.

Prepare your submission

Your clinical case must be clear, educational, practical and real.

The purpose of a clinical case presentation is to communicate diagnostic reasoning in the light of the current ESC Clinical Practice Guidelines providing a clear description of the patient’s condition and further management options based on these guidelines.

Your case needs to be educational and not necessarily rare or unusual.

Presentation formats

All presenters will be required to present their research on site in Helsinki.

Selected clinical cases will be assigned to dedicated sessions.

Each session is designed to provide maximum visibility to the work and the opportunity for exchange and interactions with peers and key opinion leaders.

Clinical Case Award Sessions

The best cases will be presented in two award sessions which will be held on site and chaired by senior faculty members. Finalists will be asked to summarise their case and explain how they managed the patient. Each presentation will be followed by a Question & Answer segment led by a panel of experts who will judge the presentations and determine the winners and runners-up.

All finalists will be granted a free congress registration for EHRA 2027 and will receive an Award certificate.
The winners will get an additional free registration for EHRA 2028.

Cases not selected for this session will automatically be considered for other presentation formats. 

Clinical Case Sessions

Presenting your clinical case at EHRA 2027 will allow you to give your work worldwide long-term exposure and multinational connections with subspeciality professionals.

Clinical cases will be presented in highly interactive and educational sessions featured in the dedicated Clinical Case Corners.
Clinicians will present their cases to two experts in the topic who will moderate the session, facilitate interaction with the audience, prompt discussions, as well as challenge the presenters and the audience.
