Presenting a clinical case at EACVI 2026 is an opportunity to highlight real‑world challenges, demonstrate your imaging expertise, and contribute to the collective learning of our multimodality community.
By presenting your case, you will receive constructive feedback from international leaders, engage in meaningful discussions, and build valuable connections for future collaborations to support your professional growth.
The four top‑rated clinical cases are selected to compete in the 'Clinical Case Award' session and all accepted contributions are published on ESC 365, extending the impact of your work long after the congress.
Congress educational grants - EACVI offers free registrations for selected clinical case presenters with limited access to fundings. Eligibility and applications open in July 2026.

The EACVI Scientific Programme Committee would like to thank all the contributors who have chosen EACVI 2026 to submit their clinical case.
The EACVI Congress Programme Committee would like to acknowledge the Clinical Case Reviewing Committee for their essential collaboration and valuable contribution to the clinical case programme.
All Clinical case submitters have been notified by email about the status of their clinical case(s) and can view the results from their My ESC account.
How to confirm your clinical case presentation
Confirmation of your presentation should be done as soon as possible.
Step 1 - The submitter must sign in to her/his My ESC account with the email and password used at the time of submission to consult the clinical case presentation day, time and format; and to submit her/her agreement form.
Step 2 -The presenter must register to the congress - you benefit from the early fee until 30 September 2026.
Step 3 - The presenter can start preparing her/his presentation by consulting the Presenter Guidelines.Important dates
Mid July 2026 – Clinical Case results announcement. A notification email has been sent to each submitter.
12 August 2026 - Deadline for the assigned presenters to confirm presentation(s) and submit the related agreement form(s).
30 September 2026 – Early fee registration deadline. All clinical case presenters must register for the congress. Take advantage of the early fee.
August 2026 - Opening of the upload platform. A notification will be sent to each presenter.
5 November 2026 - Deadline for presenters to register and upload presentations. Failure to upload and register to the congress by this deadline will lead to the withdrawal of the clinical case from the scientific programme and all related publications.
Presentation formats
All Presenters are required to present their clinical case onsite in Milan.
The EACVI HIT Committee has designed a practical, educational and interactive programme. All clinical case sessions will take place in one of the dedicated Clinical Case Corners, in the Research Gateway.
Clinical Case Award session (Agora)
Four cases have been selected to be presented in the Clinical Cases Award session.
Presenters will be in competition and their presentation evaluated on the following criteria:
- Originality of the case
- Case Management
- Presentation (demonstrating learning points from the case)
- Answers to questions
Each finalist will receive an award certificate and a free registration for the congress. The winner will also receive a free registration for EACVI 2027.
Presenters whose clinical case is selected for presentation in the Award session, will receive specific instructions.
Clinical Case sessions
Presenting your clinical case at EACVI 2026 gives your work long-term global visibility and fosters meaningful connections across all imaging modalities.
Clinical cases will be presented in highly interactive and educational sessions, moderated by two experts who will facilitate interaction with the audience, prompt discussion and challenge presenters in a supportive learning environment.
