The European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI) provides the foremost individual certification and laboratory accreditation programmes for professional excellence in Europe, entailing formal acknowledgement from a scientific society. We raise quality standards of practice and equipment in a uniform manner across Europe.
Certification is available in echocardiography, cardiovascular magnetic resonance, nuclear cardiology and cardiac CT.

Candidates will be granted certification in imaging once they have completed the two parts of the programme (exam and logbook).
The certification is valid for 5 years after which the candidate must apply for recertification to keep the certification valid.
