The European Heart Journal – Cardiovascular Interventions is the official journal of the European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI) of the ESC.

Aim and scope

A fully Open Access journal published online-only, it focuses on key interventional cardiology topics such as percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) including chronic total occlusion (CTO), complex high-risk interventions (CHIP-PCI) and circulatory support devices, interventions related to valvular heart disease (aortic, mitral, tricuspid, pulmonary) and heart failure, as well as vascular interventions including carotid, aortic, pulmonary, and renal interventions as well as novel procedures such a ballon angioplasty in CTEPH and to treat pulmonary embolism.  The journal shall publish original research, reviews, rapid communications, editorials, and letters, along with outputs from a wide range of strategic collaborations, including consensus papers from EAPCI and other ESC specialty groups.
