Getting to Seville by plane

Seville Airport (SVQ), also known as San Pablo Airport, is located 10 kilometres east of downtown Seville and has a single passenger terminal.

There are dozens of airlines flying from Seville to over 120 airports around the world. Airlines serving Seville include Aegean, Aer Lingus, Air Europa, Air France, British Airways, easyJet, Eurowings, Iberia, Lufthansa, Ryanair, TAP, Transavia, Turkish Airlines, Vueling, Wizz Air and others. The airport is well served from across Europe, with strong links from France, the UK, Germany, Belgium and beyond. Direct intercontinental connections are available to North Africa (Casablanca, Marrakech, Rabat) and the Middle East (Istanbul).

From the airport to the city centre

Driving from the airport to the city centre typically takes 15–25 minutes, depending on traffic.

Travel to Seville by train

The Santa Justa Train Station is located very close to the city centre and well deserved by public transport (15 mins to the city centre by public transport).

There are high-speed train connections to Madrid (approximately 2 hours 40 minutes), Barcelona (approximately 5 hours and 40 minutes) and Valencia (from 4 and a half hours), among others.

Seville's main station, Santa Justa, connects the city to other destinations across Andalusia and Spain.

Travel to Seville by bus

There are two main bus stations in Seville.

International and national routes arrive at the Plaza de Armas station, right in the centre of Seville.
Regional lines mainly come to Prado de San Sebastián station, also in the city centre.

Seville is accessible by international bus services connecting major European cities, including Madrid, Paris, and destinations in Germany, France, and Belgium. Within Portugal, extensive national routes also link Lisbon to other key regions, supporting convenient overland travel for congress delegates.

Public transport

Bus

Seville’s city buses usually run from 06:00 to 11:30. Buses to the Congress Centre indicate "Palacio de expositiones y congresos"
There is a 1 or 3 day tourist card with unlimited travel.

Metro

A metro line crosses the city.
Operating hours: Monday to Thursday, from 06:30 to 23:00. Fridays and eves of public holidays: 06:30 to 02:00. Saturdays: 07:30 to 02:00. Sundays and public holidays: 07:30 to 23:00.
You can get a single or return ticket, a money card for buying tickets, or a one-day pass.

Taxi

Taxis in Seville are white with a yellow stripe and always operate by meter. Fares are higher at night, on weekends and on public holidays. A green light on the roof shows they are available.

Other

Seville is an easy city to explore on foot.
Taxis are white with a yellow diagonal stripe.
It offers a bike hire network with 30 free minutes. It requires registration, with payment around of €13 (7-day pass) or €2.59 (one-day ticket).
