Accepted cases are presented at the congress and shared on ESC 365, increasing the visibility of your work and supporting learning across the field.

Congress grants are available to support clinical case presenters with limited access to funding.

Submission deadline is Thursday 5 November 2026, 12:00 (noon) CET. Don't wait until the last minute!
Prepare your submission
Your clinical case must be clear, educational, practical and real.
The purpose of a clinical case presentation is to communicate diagnostic reasoning in the light of the current ESC Clinical Practice Guidelines providing a clear description of the patient’s condition and further management options based on these guidelines.
Your case needs to be educational and not necessarily rare or unusual.

Mark your calendar with key dates
- Tuesday, 8 September 2026 - Opening Clinical Case submissions
- Thursday, 5 November 2026 – 12:00 noon CET - Clinical Case submission deadline
- Mid December 2026 - Clinical Case results announcement. Notification sent to each submitter
- 14 January 2027 - Early fee registration deadline. All Clinical Case presenters must register for the congress. Take advantage of the early fee
- 18 February 2027 - Deadline for presenters to register and upload presentations. Failure to upload and register to the congress by this deadline will lead to the withdrawal of the clinical case from the scientific programme and all related publications.
Presentation formats
The ACVC Young Committee is designing a strong, practical, educational and interactive programme. Each session is built to give the maximum visibility to the work and the opportunity for exchange and interactions with peers and key opinion leaders.
Clinical Case Sessions
Presenting your clinical case at ESC Acute Cardiovascular Care 2027 will allow you to give your work a worldwide long-term exposure and multinational connections with all subspeciality professionals.
Clinical cases are presented in highly interactive and educational sessions featured in the dedicated Clinical Case Corners.
Clinicians will present their cases to two experts in the topic who will moderate the session, facilitate interaction with the audience, prompt discussions, challenge the presenters and the audience.
Selected Presenters are required to present their research onsite in Seville.
