ESC Working Group on Myocardial Function Nucleus Elections 2026-2028
Meet the nucleus
We are pleased to announce the successful results of the 2026-2028 Working Group on Myocardial Function Elections.
We extend our sincere thanks to all members who participated in the voting process and contributed to the democratic selection of our new representatives.
The elected candidates will play an important role in advancing the mission of the Working Group on Myocardial Function and supporting our strategic priorities in education, science, clinical practice, and community engagement.
We congratulate the newly elected members and look forward to working together to continue strengthening the voice and impact of our Working Group within the broader cardiology community.

Voting rights
To be eligible to vote, members must have paid their dues at least six months before the call for application. Only Working Groups Members having settled their membership dues by 13 October 2025 (i.e.: six months before the call for candidates opened on 13 April 2026) and with a valid membership subscription at the time the voting starts (10 June 2026) will have voting rights.
Working Groups Rules of Governance: eligibility criteria
The Working Groups election application process and voting will be carried out in accordance with the ESC bylaws (Annex VI).
Who can apply
Only members of the respective working groups originating from an ESC member country (as defined in article 3 of ESC Statutes) are eligible for a Nucleus position. Candidates must also be ESC Professional Members or FESC, and members of the respective working groups in good standing, with voting rights at the date of the opening of the call for applications.
