Featured Commentary

In this issue, Drs. Ana Stupin, Ivana Jukić, and Marko Stupin from the University of Osijek (Croatia) provide insightful commentary on the study: “Endothelial cells under disturbed flow release extracellular vesicles to promote inflammatory polarization of macrophages and accelerate atherosclerosis.” Their perspective highlights emerging mechanisms through which endothelial cells communicate vascular danger and contribute to the development of atherosclerosis. Read the full commentary here.
