Dear Colleagues,
As we move into summer, our community remains active on multiple scientific fronts. This newsletter brings updates on upcoming congresses, a reminder on the working group elections, and a selection of recommended reading from recent months.
ESC Congress 2026 in Munich: Register and enjoy
ESC Congress 2026 will take place in Munich, Germany, from 28 to 31 August 2026, at Messe München. We strongly encourage working group members to attend and contribute to a visible and active presence of the atherosclerosis and vascular biology community at this flagship event. As every year, two Young Investigator Awards will be awarded to presenters of outstanding abstracts submitted by early-career scientists. Could a member of the ESC Working Group on Atherosclerosis & Vascular Biology be a winner this year?
Working Group elections - your vote matters
Elections for Nucleus Member, Secretary, and Chair-Elect positions are approaching. All working group members are warmly invited to review the profiles of the candidates and cast their vote. A dedicated email with full instructions and voting details will reach you before the opening of the online voting period (10–24 June). Please look out for it and make your voice heard - active participation from our community is what shapes the future direction of our working group. Find out more.
