Dear Colleagues and Friends,
We hope this finds you well and that you are enjoying a productive and inspiring year within the ACHD community.
We are currently in the middle of the election season for the positions of Chairperson-Elect, Secretary/Treasurer, and Voting Nucleus Members of our working group. The online voting period runs from 10 to 24 June 2026, via the voting link that you should have received by email. We strongly encourage you to cast your vote, as your participation is key in shaping the future composition of the WG and its activities within the ESC. Find out more.
Looking ahead, preparations are already underway for ESC Congress 2026, which will take place in Munich, Germany, and online, from 28 to 31 August 2026. This year’s theme, 'Artificial Intelligence in Patient Care', promises an exciting and forward-looking Scientific Programme.
In this newsletter, we have highlighted five sessions dedicated to congenital heart disease. If you would like to stay fully up to date with all ACHD-related activities during the congress, we will once again be covering the programme extensively through our social media channels, as we did last year.
- Pregnancy in complex cardiovascular conditions: everything you need to know
- Top 10 papers 2025 in heart failure, cardio-oncology, and congenital heart disease
- Precision medicine in congenital heart disease: imaging, intervention, and innovation in the artificial intelligence era
- Adult congenital heart disease and pulmonary hypertension: diagnosis and management
- Management strategies in adult congenital heart disease
Finally, we would like to remind you to save the dates and plan your trip to Sweden next year for EuroACHD 2027, which will take place in Gothenburg from 9 to 10 April 2027, including a dedicated pre-meeting course the afternoon of 8 April.
Thank you for your continued engagement and support of our working group activities. We look forward to another exciting year of collaboration, education, and scientific exchange within the ACHD community.
