Accelerating the Safe Hearts Plan: From Vision to Implementation
At the heart of this gathering lies the main objective: to identify the actions needed to accelerate the implementation of the European Safe Hearts plan.
To achieve this, the meeting will pursue a focused set of preliminary objectives designed to bridge vision and execution:
- Identify the main barriers and enablers for implementing the Safe Hearts Plan across Europe
- Define priority actions to accelerate implementation at European, national and local levels.
- Discuss the roles of key stakeholders in supporting implementation.
- Identify tools to monitor progress, including key indicators and milestones.
- Share thoughts on the opportunity for extension to non-EU countries.
- Develop a position paper with practical recommendations and KPIs to accelerate implementation.
