The 2025 ESC Guidelines on Inflammatory Myocardial and Pericardial Syndromes (IMPS) introduce a comprehensive, patient-oriented framework for the diagnosis and management of IMPS, spanning the full disease spectrum. Key innovations include presentation-driven pathways, refined roles for imaging and biopsy, and personalised therapeutic and lifestyle recommendations guided by multidisciplinary expertise.
