Cardiovascular Research (CVR) is an official, international, peer-reviewed journal of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), dedicated to basic discovery and translational research on all topics in cardiology and cardiovascular biology.
Aim and scope
CVR is an official, international, peer-reviewed journal of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), dedicated to basic discovery and translational research on all topics in cardiology and cardiovascular biology. The Journal aims to enhance insight into cardiovascular disease mechanisms and the prospects for innovation. The Journal welcomes the submission of papers both at the molecular, sub-cellular, organ, and organism level, and of clinical proof-of-concept and translational studies. Manuscripts are expected to provide a significant contribution to the field with relevance for cardiovascular biology and diseases.
It offers flexible Open Access publishing options and benefits from strong international visibility through the combined reputation, reach, and publishing expertise of the ESC and Oxford University Press.
