Call for Clinical Cases

The EHRA Scientific Programme Committee would like to thank all the contributors who have chosen EHRA 2026 to submit their clinical case.  

The EHRA Congress Programme Committee would like to acknowledge the Clinical Case Reviewing Committee for their essential collaboration and valuable contribution to the clinical case programme. 

All Clinical Case submitters have now been notified by email about the status of their Clinical case(s) and can view the results from their My ESC account.          

How to confirm your clinical case presentation

Confirmation of your presentation should be done as soon as possible.

STEP 1 - The submitter must sign in to her/his My ESC account with the email and password used at the time of submission to consult the abstract presentation day, time and format. 

STEP 2 - The presenter must register to the congress - you benefit from the early fee until 12 February 2026.

STEP 3 - The presenter can start preparing her/his presentation by consulting the Presenter Guidelines. 

Important dates

8 January 2026 – Clinical Case results announcement. A notification email has been sent to each submitter.

Mid-January 2026 - Opening of the upload platform. A notification will be sent to each presenter. 

6 February 2026 - Deadline for the assigned presenters to confirm presentation(s) and submit the related agreement form(s)

12 February 2026 – Early fee registration deadline. All clinical case presenters must register for the congress. Take advantage of the early fee.

12 March 2026 - Deadline for presenters to register and upload presentations. Failure to upload and register to the congress by this deadline will lead to the withdrawal of the clinical case from the scientific programme and all related publications.

Presentation formats

All presenters are required to present their research onsite in Paris.

Selected clinical cases are assigned to dedicated sessions.

Each session is built to give the maximum visibility to the work and the opportunity for exchange and interactions with peers and key opinion leaders.

Clinical Case Award Sessions

The best cases will be presented in 2 Award sessions which will be held onsite and chaired by senior faculty members. Finalists are asked to summarise their case and explain how they managed the patient. Each presentation will be followed by a Questions & Answers period led by a panel of experts who will judge the presentations and determine the winners and runners-up.

All finalists will be granted a free congress registration for EHRA 2026.
The winners will get an additional free registration for EHRA 2027.

Cases not selected for this session have been automatically considered for other presentation formats. 

Clinical Case Sessions

Presenting your clinical case at EHRA 2026 will allow you to give your work worldwide long-term exposure and multinational connections with all subspeciality professionals.

Clinical cases will be presented in highly interactive and educational sessions featured in the dedicated Clinical Case Corners.
Clinicians will present their cases to two experts in the topic who will moderate the session, facilitate interaction with the audience, prompt discussions, challenge the presenters and the audience.
