The European Heart Academy trains future leaders in cardiovascular medicine. Cooperating closely with selected excellent universities in Europe, the academy offers specialised courses in key areas of cardiovascular medicine for aspiring professionals, leading to academic degrees.
It is the implicit aim of the European Heart Academy to build and strengthen cooperation between European cardiologists, represented by the ESC and leading academic institutions across Europe.
Teaming up with selected university partners, the academy offers tailored courses for cardiology professionals, leading to academic degrees in line with the Bologna framework. These programmes are designed to help healthcare professionals become future leaders in cardiovascular medicine while addressing existing gaps in training and education.
Each course is developed and coordinated in close collaboration with selected, high profile academic partners and the expertise of relevant ESC associations. Teaching and hands-on modules take place at partner universities, at ESC venues, and at other state-of-the-art facilities, thus meeting the specific needs of each course.
The Academy and its university partners aim to provide the ultimate cardiovascular degrees, combining excellent faculty, innovative, executive-style teaching formats, interactive learning tools, and relevant topics that prepare the next generation of cardiovascular leaders.
