European Heart Academy Alumni Task Force
In 2020, the Alumni Task Force was established to represent the European Heart Academy, to engage and enhance the European Heart Academy Alumni community to encourage its full potential, and to explore and implement innovative projects that are beneficial for the entire cardiovascular community.
The task force has 20 members, with participants from: the PCHF-Zurich, the MSc in Health Economics (LSE), the MSc in Clinical Trials (Oxford University) and the DAS-CAM (University of Maastricht).
The mission of the task force is to act as a link between the European Heart Academy Alumni community of more than 650 members with over 50 nationalities and the ESC. To achieve that goal, the enthusiasm of the task force has been key in initialising new initiatives and projects.
These include measures to enhance the visibility of the community like the quarterly European Heart Academy Alumni newsletter, a social media strategy in collaboration with the ESC team and the creation of a map for the European Heart Academy Alumni community. In addition, the task force has initiated networking and collaborative projects like clinical collaborations, research projects, cooperation with the ESC Atlas of Cardiology data collection project, as well as dedicated meetings like the DAS-CAM Symposium.
More projects planned. Therefore, the European Heart Academy and the Alumni Task Force count on your interest and support in making this community strong and influential at an individual and at a global level.
