Dear Colleagues, Dear Friends,
As 2026 begins, we look back over the last year and can see how CardioPractice continued in its mission to provide you with the information you need in your daily practice.
With the increasing emphasis on the hyperspecialisation of our discipline and the arrival of artificial intelligence, the future of clinical cardiology is filled with a series of challenges that we need to face. Our goal is to offer clinical cardiologists the tools that allow them to be capable of guiding diagnosis and therapeutics, as well as being able to inform and advise their patients and take charge of all the parameters of prevention that remain the essential core of our discipline.
To do this over the coming months, and in close coordination with our Council of Cardiology Practice and in accordance with the philosophy of our Council, CardioPractice will take an in-depth, yet practical look at such topics as hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, pulmonary hypertension, aortic valve disease. You will also see, amidst this scientific and clinical information, a series of articles on the history of Cardiology itself, because we cannot project ourselves into the future without recognising, remembering and understanding our roots. And of course, each volume will be further completed by accessible and amicable discussions, videos and podcasts drawn from the content of each issue – often by the authors of the articles themselves. Please do not hesitate to share your advice or criticism!
On behalf of the CardioPractice team and the CCP Nucleus, I want to wish you all an excellent New Year and we look forward to your continued confidence in joining with us in our online adventure throughout the 2026.
Keep the fire burning!
Cordially,
Marc Ferrini
