The EAPC has developed a structured educational pathway based on the Preventive Cardiology Curriculum, offering different formats and resources covering cardiovascular risk factors, prevention and management of cardiovascular disease.

EAPC Curriculum

The EAPC Core Curriculum for Preventive Cardiology is the first common European educational framework for preventive cardiology. It will help standardise, structure, deliver, and evaluate training in preventive cardiology across Europe and pave the way towards a well-recognised sub-specialty in cardiology.

The EAPC Certification programme seeks to set a standard for competency and excellence in the field of preventive cardiology across Europe and beyond. The online exam, conducted each year in May, evaluates the necessary knowledge, skills and clinical competencies that are required for preventive cardiology practice.
