The Russian Society of Cardiology (RSC) is a nongovernmental scientific organisation of cardiologists and other health care professionals involved into research, clinical care and education in the field of cardiology and related disciplines.The RSC acts on the basis of voluntary membership, equality of members, publicity and legitimacy, scientific independence and alternative principles in solving of scientific problems.The RSC has the following aims:- enhancing and maintaining of education and training on cardiovascular diseases- assistance in the development of studies and clinical research- development of the RSC National Guidelines in different fields of cardiology- organisation of the meeting of the Russian Society of Cardiology annually (every autumn)- development of scientific communications between the RSC members and international collaboration.
