What is the EHRA Young EP about?

The Young Electrophysiologists Committee has been formed by EHRA to facilitate, enhance and accelerate the development of early career electrophysiologists. Electrophysiologists until the age of 40 or those older than 40 but no more than 3 years out of training are directly targeted by this new EHRA initiative.

What initiatives are being undertaken today?

Among several initiatives, the main ones have already been initiated:  building a network for young EPs, providing young EPs with up-to-date educational content and providing scientific opportunities during congresses and events.

Where do you want to go in the future?

In the very short to medium term, and in order to help the young EPs from ESC countries to discover how is EP outside of their own country, we wish to create a young EP exchange programme. The idea is to provide a low threshold opportunity to build a network with international peers. After that, several options are being discussed to expand our initiatives further.

What can I do as a young electrophysiologist to become involved?

If you want to join, this new community of Young EPs, you  can fill in the above form and your application will be approved if you match the criteria. You can also join the Linkedin group Young EP to stay up to date and share directly with us.

Can you tell a bit more about the Young Ambassadors initiatives?

We have created a group of National Ambassadors to allow the network of Young EP to grow fast and to be in close contact with national / regional groups of similar interest. You can see the list here. Feel free to contact your local ambassador to find out more
