ESC Committees and Projects

Get involved in one of the many ESC Committees to engage in enriching projects that align with your interests and build new connections with your peers.

One such committee represents the ESC Young Community, the ESC Young Cardiovascular Professionals Committee. The 2022-2024 mandate structured their work around four key pillars, each driving a signature project achieved by the end of the mandate:

Pillar 1: Communication - Young Corner in My ESC News

To increase the committee’s visibility and raise awareness among the broader ESC Young Community, we have created a dedicated section in My ESC News. 

Propose ideas of interest that you believe can benefit the broader ESC Young Community, and suggest topics you would like future editions to address by contacting us.

Pillar 2: Innovation - Young Initiatives at ESC Congress

We ensure the Young voice is heard at ESC's annual event! From tailored scientific initiatives to engaging non-scientific activities, the ESC Young Community has been actively involved and prominently visible throughout the 2023 and 2024 ESC Congresses.

Pillar 3: Education - ESC 365 - Young Track

Curated especially for you, young HCPs here at ESC, we have brought together the most relevant academic content as part of the ESC 365 - Young Track. From expert advice on career development to insights from renowned cardiologists, webinars and congress presentations, start your journey now with ESC 365.

Pillar 4: Career Development - ESC Mentoring

Give your career a new dimension and connect with peers through ESC Mentoring.

2024-2026 Projects

Continuing the projects initiated during the 2022-2024 mandate, the ESC Young Cardiovascular Professionals Committee 2024-2026 will actively work on:

• Following-up the 2022-2024 projects.
• Reducing the burden of training by developing resources and tools allowing the early career stage community to focus on the training itself.
• Making the ESC the society of choice for healthcare professionals throughout their medical career.
• Improving health and wellbeing of young cardiovascular professionals.

Attend an ESC Congress or a subspecialty congress hosted by ESC Associations and explore scientific sessions specifically designed for young cardiovascular professionals.

Become a Young FESC!
