Our mission is to reduce the burden of cardiovascular disease through percutaneous cardiovascular interventions.
More about EAPCI
The European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions is deeply saddened to learn that our distinguished friend and colleague, Professor Anthony Gershlick, has died from a COVID-19 infection. Prof. Gershlick was a consultant cardiologist at the Glenfield Hospital (Leicester, UK) and Professor of Interventional Cardiology at the University of Leicester.
His contribution to our field was exceptional and unequivocally directed at improving the lives of his patients. He deeply believed in clinical science as a way we, as professionals, can learn to make a difference for this world. He was one of the driving forces in our community and will not be forgotten.
We will all miss him profoundly, and send our condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues.
