A new randomised, double-blind crossover study of 74 healthy participants shows that a single night of road traffic noise can have measurable impacts on health. Our new course has been created to encourage the discovery of science and support the next generation of cardiovascular researchers. As the first programme backed by the newly created ESC Fund, registration is fully funded and grants for travel and accommodation are available. Apply by 16 March.

Working Group on e-Cardiology
We advance digital innovation in cardiovascular care, focusing on specialised computer methods including AI, image and signal processing, predictive modelling, e-health, mobile apps, and hospital communication systems.
Working Group on Myocardial & Pericardial Diseases
We improve diagnosis and treatment of heart muscle and pericardial disease, and promote understanding of these disorders among cardiologists, stimulating research and educational programmes throughout Europe.
Working Group on Myocardial Function
Our mission is to focus on the molecular, cellular and integrative mechanisms underlying cardiac function and dysfunction. We provide a platform for basic and clinically oriented scientists interested in all aspects of myocardial function.
