Continuing Medical Education (CME)
ESC Congress 2024 has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) for a maximum of 30.5 European CME credits (ECMEC®s).
The EACCME® is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS).

All delegates can access their certificate of attendance and CME credits from 30 September in their My ESC account
In your My ESC account, go to ‘Congress History’ and select ‘Manage’ to download the certificate. You will be asked to complete an EACCME evaluation form prior to download.
For Onsite participation:
Delegates will receive ECMEC®s for each day of presence onsite, based on the following limits per day:

For Online participation:
Delegates can receive up to a maximum of 30.5 ECMEC® based on time spent connected and viewing scientific content*.
Please be aware that any tracking blockers on your device or browser may prevent us from tracking your activity properly, with the result that the CME credits will not be added on your certificate of attendance and cannot be claimed after the event.
How CME points are calculated for online participation.
0.5 ECMEC® are awarded per 30 minutes of scientific content* viewed per day, live and on-demand, during the event, 30 August - 2 September, up to the maximum per day as shown below.
*Live discussion rooms and Research Gateway consultation are not included.

Participants from US and Canada
- American Medical Association (AMA) and non-AMA members alike will be able to convert a maximum of 30.5 hours of EACCME Credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. See information on the process to convert EACCME® credits to AMA credit. AMA processing fee: $ 30 for AMA members, and $75 for non-members.
- Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Live educational activities occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC® credits are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Certificate of Attendance
All delegates who took part in ESC Congress 2024 will receive a certificate of attendance.
A Certificate of Attendance (without CME credits) is issued in pdf format and will be available in each delegate's My ESC account from 16 September. (Certificates with CME credits will be available from 30 September)
