"Participating in this year's speed mentoring sessions has been incredibly enriching for me. I had the privilege of meeting the biggest research and clinical experts in the field, such as Emma Svennberg and Andreu Porta-Sanchez. I sincerely felt their interest in listening to my professional interests, and utmostly appreciate that their wealth of experience provided me with guidance and fresh perspectives. From discussing career strategies to gaining insights into specific fields, including how to most optimally combine scientific and clinical projects with personal life - I believe that each session was a truly invaluable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend these sessions to any young EP seeking mentorship and guidance opportunities."

"I want to share my experience of the EHRA speed mentoring programme. Firstly, I want to thank EHRA and everyone who was in the organisational team for their support and understanding. Due to the war I have not had the opportunity this year to visit Berlin onsite. So I asked if there was any chance to take part online and I received an invitation to an online mentoring session with Prof. Philipp Sommer. All the contact details were clear, thanks to the support team. Our meeting was about 30 minutes. I was really excited about the open talk and interest of my mentor. Prof. Philipp Sommer paid a lot of attention to my questions. The guidance and support I received in just a short amount of time were invaluable. I hope that there will be a meeting soon, but offline and face-to-face. Participating in the speed mentoring project is an incredible experience. I highly recommend this programme to anyone looking to accelerate their professional growth."

“During EHRA 2023 in Barcelona I had the pleasure of participating in a speed mentoring session both individually with Tom De Potter and in a group mentoring session with Isabelle van Gelder. It was a nice, laid-back conversation and I was able to freely ask for advice and guidance from expert EP physicians in achieving my professional goals. I gained some new perspectives and they seemed genuinely interested in my views. They patiently addressed all of my questions and concerns and gave me useful insights. I would recommend these sessions to any young EP interested in mentoring.”

"During the EHRA Speed Mentoring session, I had a great opportunity to discuss my career path with Prof. Jan Steffel. With a very friendly and open approach, I could ask questions about training in the field of ventricular tachycardia ablation and my strategy to build a VT programme in my hospital. Hints and recommendations were truly valuable – a frank, straight-to-the-point conversation highlighting where to go, and what to avoid. Also, Prof. Steffel was kind to share his experience on working as an EP clinician in Switzerland, explaining possible career paths to me."
