Continuing Medical Education (CME)

EAPCI Summit 2026 has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) for a maximum of 10.0 European CME Credits (ECMEC®s).

The EACCME® is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS).

 

To access your credits:

Your CME Certificate will be available from 2 March in your My ESC account

(Go to Congress History and select Manage to download the document - you may be asked to complete an EACCME evaluation form prior to download)

CME Credits will be awarded for each day of attendance as follows:

  • Thursday, 19 February - 5 CME Credits
  • Friday, 20 February - 5 CME Credits

Ensure your badge is scanned on entry each day of the congress, and that your registration is linked to your personal My ESC account.

German CME Accreditation (BLÄK) - for German Delegates only

In addition to the EACCME® accreditation, the EAPCI Summit 2026 is accredited specifically for the German CME system by the Bayerische Landesärztekammer (BLÄK). This procedure only applies to German physicians.

Procedure to obtain the credits:

  • Certificates must be collected on-site at the registration desk.
  • Certificates are pre-signed and must be stamped at the registration desk each half day of effective attendance (during lunch break and before the last session, as the registration desk will close afterwards).
  • Participants must present their badge for identity verification.
  • Certificates will NOT be issued or validated after the congress.
  • After the end of the EAPCI Summit, Participants must submit their stamped certificate themselves to their local Ärztekammer to obtain their CME points.

Participants from the US and Canada

  • Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists andthe American Medical Association (AMA), physicians may convert EACCME® Credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. See information on the process to convert EACCME® Credits to AMA credits. 
  • Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Live educational activities occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC® Credits are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Certificate of Attendance

All delegates who participate in EAPCI Summit 2026 will receive a certificate of attendance.

Your certificate will be available in your My ESC account from 2 March 2026.
