What is the PFA Summit?

The 'PFA Summit: From Bench to Bedside' offers a unique full-day deep dive into this innovation’s trajectory—bridging foundational biophysics, emerging device engineering, and the practical realities of contemporary EP workflows.

  • Illuminate the scientific principles and selective cellular mechanisms of PFA
  • Showcase engineering breakthroughs in catheter and waveform design
  • Analyse pivotal trials and early clinical implementation
  • Debate regulatory and educational hurdles for broader adoption
  • Explore PFA’s transformative potential for AF ablation and other arrhythmias

Whether you're an electrophysiologist, biomedical engineer, healthcare policymaker, or industry innovator—this is your opportunity to engage with the pulse of the future.

“The world of PFA is evolving so rapidly that we felt compelled to offer a structured, high-impact journey—covering biophysical foundations, device technologies, and the most current clinical insights.” - Prof. Serge Boveda & Dr. Atul Verma - PFA Summit Directors

The PFA Summit will take place on Saturday, 11 April from 8:30 to 17:30 at the Palais des Congres - Porte Maillot, level 3.

The EHRA PFA Summit 2026 is a co-organised initiative of:

  • The European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA), a branch of the ESC
  • The Canadian Heart Rhythm Society (CHRS)

The Summit programme will be submitted to UEMS for accreditation.
