Submission deadline is Thursday 21 May 2026, 12:00 (noon) CEST.
We encourage you to complete this in good time.

- Early July 2026 - Abstract results announcement online. An email will also be sent to each submitter

Presentation formats
All presenters will be required to present their research during the congress in Milan, Italy.
Selected abstracts have been assigned to different presentation formats:
Young Investigators Award Session (YIA)
Two YIA sessions will be held onsite, chaired by senior faculty members: one dedicated to Clinical Cardiology and the other to Basic Science.
Each finalist will present the key points of their research, followed by a Questions & Answers period led by a panel of experts who will evaluate the presentations and determine the winners and runners-up.
- Submit in this category to benefit from:
- Free registration to EACVI 2026 and an award certificate for all finalists
- Prizes: first prize winner (€ 1,000) and three runners-up (€ 250)
- Conditions:
- Your abstract(s) must be accepted at EACVI 2026 in a Young Investigators Award Session
- You must be the presenter of your abstract(s)
- You must be under 40 years old
- Selection process: the selection committee reviews the final top scoring abstracts to appoint the finalists. The selected abstracts will be presented to a jury in a dedicated session, which includes a Questions & Answers section
Oral presentation
The highest graded abstracts are presented onsite during 'Oral Abstract sessions' moderated by senior faculty members.
Moderated ePosters
The highest graded ePosters are presented onsite during 'Moderated ePoster' sessions moderated by senior faculty members.
Paper Posters
Abstracts selected as 'Posters' will be displayed in a dedicated area onsite.
