ESC Working Group on Cellular Biology of the Heart

Our mission is to unite a dynamic community of basic scientists and clinicians, identify novel therapeutic targets and drive translational research projects focused on treating heart disease.

Who we are

Connecting scientists to unravel cardiac function and dysfunction

We bring together basic scientists and clinicians who share a passion for understanding the cellular biology of the heart.

By fostering collaboration across disciplines, we inspire translational research that spans coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, and beyond. As part of the ESC community, we work to connect lab discoveries with clinical practice – driving progress through shared knowledge, curiosity, and innovation.
