Sophia Antipolis, 17 June 2025: The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) marks 75 years of advancing cardiovascular medicine and improving heart health worldwide - a milestone that will be celebrated at ESC Congress 2025, taking place in Madrid from 29 August to 1 September. 

Held in collaboration with the World Congress of Cardiology, this year’s event will shine a Spotlight on Global Health under the visionary theme: “Cardiology Beyond Borders.” The congress will explore the growing global burden of cardiovascular disease and its critical intersections with climate change, digital innovation, health equity, and access to care.

Highlights of ESC Congress 2025 include:

• Hot Line sessions will present groundbreaking clinical trial results, first-time disclosures of primary endpoints that could significantly impact treatment strategies.

• A dedicated Digital Cardiology and Artificial Intelligence track will spotlight how AI is enabling personalised treatment, predictive analytics, and more efficient clinical workflows. 
• Cardiometabolic track explores the interplay of obesity, diabetes, dyslipidaemia, hypertension, and their impact on cardiovascular health. 
• The Patient's perspective track offers fresh perspectives that can enrich your approach to patient care.
