ESC Publications Committee

2024-2026

Purpose of the committee

The ESC Publications Committee (ESCPC), comprising all journal Editors-in-Chief (EiCs) and a book representative, spearheads the curation and editing of scientific content across ESC’s academic journals and educational books in both print and online. The ESCPC proactively identifies and champions publications that advance the ESC’s mission, while EiCs diligently uphold the accuracy, integrity, and relevance of all content.

The ESC is a staunch advocate for ethical publishing and strictly follows the guidelines of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Essentially, the ESCPC is committed to promoting gender and geographical diversity across all editorial boards, sub-committees, and elections, ensuring a rich, inclusive perspective throughout the ESC portfolio.
