The EHRA Innovation Stage is aimed at clinicians, scientists and engineers. Your invention or innovation should be on the broad topic of cardiac arrhythmias and tackle a novel approach.
It could be you have developed software, a new device, have identified a new use for a drug or other small molecule, or brought a business approach to an aspect of cardiac rhythm management that can be considered an invention.
All pre-commercial revenue stages will be considered, so your idea may be still in basic research, or have progressed all the way to early clinical trials, but it should have moved beyond the idea stage.
Four 50-minute sessions will be organised at the Innovation Stage during the coffee breaks. Four inventors will present their innovation during 7 minutes followed by 5 minutes discussion. The session will be animated by the chairperson and 2 discussants will ask questions to the presenters. There is also time for questions from the audience.
The three best innovations will have the opportunity to present their work again during the EHRA Innovation Stage Final.
The top 3 presenters will be awarded a certificate and a free registration for EHRA 2021.
