Ideal Candidate Profile
We invite applications from outstanding leaders in cardiovascular medicine who meet the following criteria:
- Recognised key opinion leader within the global cardiovascular community.
- Impeccable academic reputation and a distinguished publishing record in high‑impact cardiovascular research.
- Extensive experience in senior editorial roles within respected, high‑quality academic journals.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire an editorial team, uphold rigorous scientific and ethical standards, and steward a journal of major international influence.
- Full institutional support and backing for the time, responsibilities, and strategic engagement required of an EHJ Editor‑in‑Chief.
- A broad, international network of collaborators and contributors across the cardiovascular field.
Process and Next Steps
A detailed Candidate Brief outlining the role, expectations, selection process, and timeline will be made available to all applicants in February.
Interested candidates will be invited to submit a formal application once the Candidate Brief is released.
