Prediction of incident heart failure in individuals without prior cardiovascular disease: the SCORE2-HF risk model

Prediction of the future is challenging. 

In this landmark study, a new tool, the SCORE2-HF, is able to identify individuals at risk of developing heart failure before any cardiovascular disease occurs. Built on over 600,000 individuals and validated across Europe, it is based on simple, routinely available factors and can effectively identify patients at risk of HF in the next 30 years.
