Guidelines Development

Supporting the distribution of knowledge on prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease is a major responsibility of the European Society of Cardiology

The ESC creates task forces of experts to develop recommendations for clinical practice through a rigorous two-year process. The selection procedure includes an annual open call for guidelines task force members, which is held at the beginning of each year.
