The ESC Congress Programme Committee would like to thank all the contributors who have chosen ESC Congress 2025 together with World Congress of Cardiology to submit their late-breaking science.
The results have now been announced, all submitters have been notified by email.

Hot Line Sessions
- 10 sessions will be held in Main Auditorium.
- These sessions will be reserved for first presentation of the primary endpoint(s) of novel clinical trials, recently completed and unpublished. Each will immediately be followed by a review from a renowned expert on the outcome presented
- Ask the Trialist - a unique opportunity to focus on the trial with direct interaction with the audience
- Extensive ESC TV coverage
- Embargoed Press Conferences: presentation and moderated discussion with international journalists
- All sessions will be streamed LIVE from Madrid for the online audience
Late-Breaking Science Sessions
- Topic-related sessions featuring the trials, trial updates and registries, cohorts, observational & epidemiological studies.
Basic & Translational Late-Breaking Science Session
- 1 session dedicated to highlighting the latest and “hottest” findings in basic and translational science
