Membership of ESC Working Groups is free and valid for 12 months after your application is accepted by the Working Group Chairperson.
Upon joining this Working Group, you will automatically be enrolled as a member of our partner, the ESC Council on Basic Science (CBCS). Should you wish to decline or terminate this combined membership, please notify us in writing (contact us).
Candidates
Candidates should:
- Have a degree in any biomedical science (medicine, engineering, physics).
- Have a position in a medical or scientific institution or a research position in industry.
- Have a strong interest in computer applications in Cardiology.
- Be willing to participate in the activities of the Working Group on e-Cardiology, such as educational meetings, scientific meetings, and the assembly of the Working Group at the annual meeting of the ESC.
Please fill in the required information and submit a short CV, a list of your recent publications, and a brief description of your activities related to information and communication technology in cardiology.
The Chairperson will review the applications, and unsuitable applicants (in terms of formal requirements) may be rejected. In this case, the applicant will be notified, but there is no obligation to give them reasons.
