We aim to promote an integrative understanding of the pathophysiology of "polyvascular disease" with a particular focus on prevention, new diagnostic and risk prediction tools, as well as novel therapeutic modalities.
To achieve our goal, we encourage collaboration with other Working Groups and ESC Associations for research activities and joint meetings.
We welcome all those interested in the field and look forward to their active participation.

- Unify and homogenise European Vascular Medicine
- Join the professionals and scientists involved in managing Aortic and Vascular disease
- Create guidelines for the diagnostics and treatment of Vascular disease
- Bridge the gap between cardiologists, vascular surgeons, angiologists, and cardiac surgeons by promoting joint initiatives and collaborative efforts across specialties.
- Create and publish standards for Vascular medicine
- Promote research and knowledge of Vascular medicine
