A global network within the scientific EP community was created for members younger than 40 to assist them with scientific exposure and networking opportunities.
The Young EP Committee facilitates, enhances and accelerates career development for these electrophysiologists in the early stages of their career.
The committee's goal is to promote the work of its members and create a global network within the scientific EP community to assist with non-clinical professional training needs.

EHRA Young EP networking programme aiming at providing one to two weeks of hands-off observational training with an expert electrophysiologist.
The EHRA Young ECG Contest took place during EHRA 2025. The contest consisted of two rounds: a preliminary online round with 46 ECG-based multiple-choice questions, and the final round held onsite during the congress in Vienna with the 10 national teams who came out as top scorers in the first round.
These fellowship programmes promote the development of academic medicine within the field of clinical cardiac electrophysiology. Application period is 15 September to 17 November.
