These guidelines provide a comprehensive framework for healthcare professionals, covering the entire PAAD patient journey.

2024 ESC Guidelines for the management of chronic coronary syndromes

The current guidelines for managing chronic coronary syndromes (CCS) are intended to assist in diagnosing and initiating treatment for individuals with suspected CCS, as well as in the longterm management of patients with confirmed CCS.

2023 ESC Guidelines for the management of cardiovascular disease in patients with diabetes

The current Guidelines on cardiovascular disease and diabetes are designed to guide prevention and management of the manifestations of CVD in patients with diabetes.

2023 ESC Guidelines for the management of endocarditis

2023 ESC Guidelines for the management of cardiomyopathies

The objective of this guideline is to help healthcare professionals diagnose and manage patients with cardiomyopathies of all ages according to the best available evidence and to provide a practical diagnostic and treatment framework for patients and their relatives.

2023 ESC Guidelines for the management of acute coronary syndromes

The present guideline has been developed to support healthcare professionals in the diagnosis and management of patients presenting with acute coronary syndrome (ACS). For the first time, the present guideline presents recommendations for management of patients across the entire spectrum of ACS in one document.

2023 Focused Update of the 2021 ESC Guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic heart failure

Since the publication of the 2021 ESC Guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic heart failure, there have been several randomised controlled trials that should change patient management ahead of the next scheduled full guideline.

2022 ESC Guidelines on cardio-oncology

The first ESC Guidelines on cardio-oncology offer essential recommendations for protecting cardiovascular health in cancer care – supporting you at every step, from diagnosis to prevention and long-term management.

2022 ESC Guidelines on Cardiovascular Assessment and Management of Patients Undergoing Non Cardiac Surgery

These guidelines are intended for physicians, healthcare workers, and collaborators involved in the pre-operative, operative, and post-operative care of patients undergoing non-cardiac surgery.

2022 ESC Guidelines: management of patients with ventricular arrhythmias and the prevention of sudden cardiac death

This document presents an update of the 2015 ESC Guidelines for the management of patients with ventricular arrhythmias (VA) and the prevention of sudden cardiac death (SCD).

2022 ESC/ERS Guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary hypertension

Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is a pathophysiological disorder, which may involve multiple clinical conditions and may be associated with a variety of cardiovascular and respiratory diseases.

2021 ESC Guidelines on Cardiovascular Disease Prevention in Clinical Practice

The present guidelines have been developed to support healthcare professionals in their efforts to reduce the burden of ASCVD in both individual patients, as well as at a population level.

2021 ESC Guidelines on cardiac pacing and cardiac resynchronization therapy

The 2021 ESC Guidelines redefine cardiac pacing – covering CRT, His and left bundle branch pacing, advanced diagnostics, risk reduction, remote monitoring, and shared decision-making for better patient care.

2021 ESC Guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic heart failure

The aim of this ESC guideline is to help health professionals manage people with heart failure (HF) according to the best available evidence. Fortunately, we now have a wealth of clinical trials to help us select the best management to improve the outcomes for people with HF; for many, it is now both preventable and treatable.

2020 ESC Guidelines on Sports Cardiology and Exercise in Patients with Cardiovascular Disease

These guidelines draw upon existing ESC Guidelines for the investigation, risk assessment, and management of individuals with CVD to aid physicians when prescribing exercise programmes or providing advice for sports participation.

Decision-making in ACHD involves accurate diagnosis, timing of intervention, risk assessment, and selection of the most suitable type of intervention.

2019 Guidelines on Supraventricular Tachycardia

Our guidelines deliver updated, evidence-based recommendations for managing supraventricular tachycardias – covering drug therapy, ablation, and coexisting conditions.
