Activities

Mission

The aim of the Guatemalan Association of Cardiology is:

to be an eminent scientific association, and to disseminate the knowledge and promote leadership of cardiology in our country
to improve the cardiological knowledge via the associates
to promote prevention of cardiovascular diseases in Guatemala

The Association is affiliated to the Interamerican Society of Cardiology and to the Centroamerican Society of Cardiology. The Association participate in the scientific activities of these organisations.

Publications

The official journal “Revista Guatemalteca de Cardiología” is edited in Spanish (not translated). The journal has been reedited since January 2012, with an issue every six months.
