The EHRA Educational Committee has developed a three-tiered framework to provide a structured and progressive educational pathway.
Heart Rhythm Certification
Certification organised by the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA).
EHRA Training Fellowships
These fellowship programmes promote the development of academic medicine within the field of clinical cardiac electrophysiology. Application period is 15 September to 17 November.

Upcoming EHRA Certification Exams
EHRA Online Certification Exam in English - CIED
Exam registration is individual and managed on a first-come, first-served basis, closing 15 days before the exam or once capacity is reached; candidates must submit proof of their medical degree, pay in euros by credit card, and may cancel up to four weeks in advance for a partial refund, with all ESC terms and liability conditions applying up.
EHRA (AP/CIED) in English Online Certification Exam Allied Professionals in Cardiac Pacing and ICDs
Registration for all ESC-administered exams is individual, first-come, first-served, requires payment in euros by credit card before the deadline, and is subject to ESC terms, cancellation policies, and liability conditions.
EHRA Online Certification Exam in French Invasive Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP)
ESC-administered exam registration is individual, first-come, first-served, requires submission of a medical diploma, payment in euros by credit card before the deadline, and is subject to ESC terms including cancellation rules, invoice conditions, and liability limitations.
EHRA (AP/EP) in English Online Certification Exam for Allied Professionals in Electrophysiology
Registration for ESC-administered exams is individual, first-come, first-served, must be completed online with payment in euros by credit card before the deadline, and is subject to ESC terms, including cancellation policies, invoice rules, and liability conditions.
