EHRA has prioritised collaboration with National Cardiac Societies and Working Groups of arrhythmias, electrophysiology and pacing in a unified effort to reduce the impact of cardiac arrhythmias in Europe. This collaboration between EHRA and the national experts has proven to be fruitful and productive.

Over the years, EHRA has developed a strong network, collaborating with 60 EP Working Groups/Associations in 56 of the 57 ESC member countries.

The National Cardiac Society or Working Group of the Moment

The EHRA National Cardiac Societies Committee, with the EHRA e-Communications Committee, have the pleasure of showcasing a new EP National Cardiac Society (NCS) or EP Working Group (WG) in the EHRA network!

This initiative highlights the efforts and activities of these partner organisations and promotes the interaction between the various EP NCS/WG and EHRA.

The EHRA Summit

Every year, EHRA invites representatives from National Cardiac Societies and Working Groups on arrhythmias, electrophysiology and pacing to discuss a specific topic.

The 2025 summit will take place on 12 and 13 June in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Central Asia EP Summit - CardioRhythm

This collaborative course for cardiologists, featuring international key opinion leaders and EHRA faculty, tackled cardiac arrhythmia management and cardiac electrophysiology.
It took place on 17 and 18 October 2024 in Astana, Kazakhstan.

EHRA joint sessions - The call for applications is open!

Sessions organised jointly between EHRA and EP National Cardiac Societies (NCS)/Associations/Working Groups (WG) are regularly organised throughout the year.

These joint sessions take place during the annual national congress or meeting of the EP Working Group (or the Association or NCS if the Working Group does not have its own annual meeting).

The call for applications for EHRA joint sessions will open in spring 2026.

New: The ESC-EHRA Atlas on Heart Rhythm Disorders

The ESC-EHRA Atlas on Heart Rhythm Disorders provides the most comprehensive overview to date of how arrhythmia care is organised and delivered across Europe, built on collective achievements. This ambitious project collects comprehensive data from ESC member countries on resources and clinical practices in electrophysiology, including ablation, cardiac device implantation, and lead extraction. It builds upon the legacy of the EHRA White Book and will serve as a powerful tool for understanding trends, guiding policy, and supporting evidence-based decision-making across Europe.

The White Book

The EHRA Summit pointed out the need to standardise health resources by promoting knowledge of the status and bringing it to the attention of all public authorities. EHRA decided to publish the European White Book of Electrophysiology.
