Our mission is to reduce the burden of cardiovascular disease through percutaneous cardiovascular interventions.
Who We Are
Since 2006, the European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI) has developed as a privileged space for the interventional community, who are committed to research, scientific advances, education and excellence in medical practice. Due to major developments within the field such as stenting, TAVI, TEER among others, our community has grown remarkably.
What We Do
Prof. Alaide Chieffo (IT) heads a board of specialists in interventional cardiology who manage and supervise the association's activities, together with the EAPCI Committees, representing over 250+ engaged committee members.
- Membership: EAPCI represents a community of 1,400+ members and 8,200 associates (2024 figures) and supports your professional development.
- Education: EAPCI offers year-long education in the form of webinars, online coaching programmes, fellowship training grants, courses and a certification exam.
- Summit: New for 2026, EAPCI Summit will gather leaders, rising talent and subspecialty representatives, to transform guideline recommendations into real-world patient impact.
- Research: EAPCI produces a quarterly Journal Club and publishes expert scientific papers
- Advocacy: EAPCI contributes to shaping policy, regulation and publishes resources for patients
