Echocardiography Tutorials including MCQs
The concept of the echocardiography tutorials is to provide individual, practical training as if in an exam room with an expert teacher performing an echo exam and explaining how to proceed. The notion of step-by-step assessing is key.
It provides high-quality, online training while preparing trainees for EACVI Certification.
Accreditation
The ESC e-Learning Platform is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide CME activities for medical specialists. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS).
Each of the EACVI tutorials on Multimodality Imaging in Congenital Heart Disease has an assessment mechanism (MCQ test), allowing participants to obtain European CME Credits (ECMEC) upon successful completion.
Transthoracic echocardiography (TTE)
This module includes 31 educational videos that cover the EACVI Echo Core Syllabus and provide practical training on how to perform transthoracic echo exams.
Transoesophageal echocardiography (TOE)
This module includes 16 educational videos that cover the EACVI Echo Core Syllabus and provide practical training on how to perform transoesophageal echo exams.
