With the new ESC one-to-one mentoring platform, ACNAP can give you access to an extensive mentoring network that facilitates the professional development of high-quality cardiovascular nurses and allied health professionals engaged in research and/or clinical practice.

ACNAP offers a personalised mentoring experience to help you achieve your goals with:

  • Tailored mentoring journey: offering continuous support and guidance from our ACNAP mentors listed below.
  • Mentee support calls: organised twice a year by our Mentoring programme leads, providing a platform for ACNAP mentees to exchange insights and ideas among the community of nurses and allied professionals.
  • Essential resources: access to supporting documents, such as an action plan and assessment templates, to guide your journey.
  • Feedback: participate in surveys to ensure objectives are met and milestones achieved.

Our ACNAP Mentors' commitments

Our ACNAP endorsed mentors commit to:

  • Up to a 12-month relationship: providing structured guidance over a year.
  • Regular meetings: Hosting at least four one-hour sessions, including key check-ins at six months and at the end of the programme.
  • Setting goals together: Developing SMART objectives and a comprehensive action plan tailored to your needs.
  • Continuous guidance: Offering expertise throughout your mentoring journey.
  • Assessment: supporting you by providing assessments throughout your journey.
